Emcee Gig for a Wonderful Cause

I was asked by my dear friend and colleague, Kelly Clark Leonard of Event of the Seasonto emcee a “battle of the bands” nonprofit fundraiser. The nonprofit organization was BASC – Bridging All Student Choices – and another event designer in town, Joni Papay of Hearts Bloom was the brains behind this wonderful event. The set was beautiful and the bands were amazing. My two FAVORITE bands were Shoemaker Brothers(hotties who can play multiple instruments each and keep your feet dancing & your heart throbbing… yum) and 50 Sticks of Dynamite (a banjo-led rockin’ speed-blues band featuring 2 teachers from the high school where the event was held!)

It was a crowded auditorium of 300+ that enjoyed this special event and I was privileged to be a part of it!
